1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Anita (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the platform.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload or process illegal content, including content that violates intellectual property rights or privacy laws
• Use the Service to generate spam, phishing messages, or other harmful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, or federal law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscription and billing

Anita is currently in a free beta period. Pricing for paid plans will be announced before the end of the beta. By continuing to use the Service after pricing is introduced, you agree to the then-current pricing terms.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

4. Data ownership

You retain full ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload to Anita. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

5. AI disclaimer

Anita uses artificial intelligence to help you organize information, summarize documents, and answer questions about your workspace. Anita is an informational tool only and does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on information provided by the Service.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anita and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
